Ghana's Flag:The Ghana Flag has 3 colors. The top band of the flag is red wich represents the blood of all the warriors who fought for there independence. The next band is yellow for the countries mineral weath. The last band is green for forests and natural wealth. The black star is said to be he lodestar of African freedom.

The development of Cocoa Production for export, and foreign investment made Cote d'Ivoire one of the most prosperous of the West African states. But did not protect it from political turmoil. In December 1999, a military coup, the first ever Cote d'Ivoire's in history to over-through a government. And is also known as the "Ivory Coast."
