The official colors of the Zimbabwe flag:

  • Green: the agriculture and rural areas of Zimbabwe
  • Yellow: the wealth of minerals in the country
  • Red: the blood shed during the war of the liberation
  • Black: the heritage and ethnicity of theZimbabwe native Africans
  • White: peace
  • The Bird: the empire of Great Zimbabwe.
On April 18, 1980 the Zimbabwe flag was adopted.

Geography:

Capital: CHarare
Area: 390,580 sq. km.
-Slightly larger than Montana.
Population is estimated: 1.5 million
Terrain: Desert and savanna.
Climate: Mostly subtropical.
Life expectancy for Zimbabwe is 44 for males and 43 for females.

Most people of Zimbabwe are farmers that grow crops for money.
-Crops include:
-corn
-cotton
-tobacco
-wheat
-coffee
-tea
-sugarcane
-peanuts
-cattle
-sheep
-pigs

  • The government recently issued a 100 trillion dollar note because the Zimbabwe Kwacha is almost useless.
  • In Zimbabwe they usually use the U.S dollar or the South African currency.
